So Hello.

So hello!

My 12th grade english teacher always began her class with 'so hello'. Even when she would write us a note or grade our papers, and even in my yearbook, it always started as 'so hello.'  I've adopted it, well, because at first I thought she was so cool (and I still do Ms Friedman!) and I also just think it's a pretty crazie way to start off a new topic of conversation....a new day.

So here we go.

I am back. The last two months have been hectic. Even though I have randomly posted here and there trying to catch everyone up, it really was très difficile to get a few moments to myself, let alone to write or blog about any of it along the way. Thus, the number of posts between July and August probably add up to less than the number of fingers on my left hand.

Well here's the scoop (for those of you who do not know) ...

My one and only (biological) brother got married this past saturday!

my bro and me

:: Sigh ::

We used to be so close, and we are only 18 months apart (like Cj and Tj are!) so we grew up as best friends. So, it truly was so exciting and so amazing to be such a big part of his day. But now, the day has come and gone and they are officially husband and wife! It's great and honestly I can't be any more happier for the two of them. I love seeing them together and absolutely appreciated hearing all the wonderful things about the two of them. I am just looking forward to the future that the two of them will lead.

It really is wedding season though.  I'm not sure what's in the water, but it's not planning to let up any time soon. We have already heard more of our family and friends announcing theirs to come, so I foresee a bunch more to attend in the coming year or two. But that's okay. Weddings, though exciting (and stressful!) are absolutely an opportunity to reflect on some major truths that God generously seeks to speak to us.

Congratulations Mikey & Sarah! We love you both =)
